I was hired as the UX Designer for a bank and my first assignment is to create a mobile app for customers who want to apply for a loan. To get a loan, users must go through a credit application process. The PDF below is the paper form that customers fill out right now.
Since the user research was already done prior to this feature implementation, I focused on form the information architecture for the mobile format of the application as well as design systems like using material icons, components, interactive design and UX design concepts such as minimizing cognitive load through progressive disclosure and forward and backward navigation, toggles and drop down menus.
